I've seen a lot of these movies because when the list originally came out, I made it a point to work my way through it. Now I'm down to those that are very hard to find, or those that I really don't have any interest in seeing. Of the ones I haven't seen, the only films I still intend to get around to someday are: Lawrence of Arabia, On The Waterfront, Bonnie and Clyde, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, All Quiet on the Western Front, Network, and maybe Unforgiven.

(I know, I know, you're all saying, "But, Goodfellas!" I tried to watch it once, I really did, I made it about an hour in before I fell asleep. So seems to me it's just not my thing.)

Maybe you were already tired?

Maybe. Sir Monkeypants fell asleep during Casablanca -- twice -- and I still contend it was only because he was really, really tired. Because what else could possibly explain it?
Also, I'm surprised you didn't include Singin in the Rain or My Fair Lady. Those movies seem like they would be exactly your thing.

Indeed, I adore the Hollywood musical. But those two in particular -- Singin and My Fair Lady -- are probably my least favourites, so that's why I don't think they belong in the top 100. There's definitely better out there -- say, Mary Poppins (which is legendary, it definitely should be on the list), and my personal favourites, Easter Parade and White Christmas.
Doing the whole list is too much work - I'm on freakin vacation!

Bonnie and Clyde - low key ground breaking violence - a must see.

A Clockwork Orange - total mind trip!

If you you really want a disturbing flick, check out Deliverance? I saw that more than twenty years ago and couldn't sleep for days, It still gives me the creeps!
